DMC TO ANCHOR FLOSS CONVERSION CHART
DMC and Anchor are the most commonly used brands of stranded cotton. They both have a wide variety of colors and are made of good-quality stranded cotton. The thread is comprised of six strands, which can be easily separated as you might want to stitch with less than 6 strands depending on your project.
You can use both brands together for a project, for example, substitute one shade of DMC floss with ANCHOR floss, but please note that is not possible to provide a perfect color match between brands.
The Botanical Butterfly Color Palette uses the following shades of thread: Blue Very Light, Blue Light, Blue Dark, Navy Blue, Chartreuse, and Green Bright.
Feel free to adapt these color suggestions to suit your projects. If you plan to use these color palettes for needle painting projects, you can include more shades from each color family to create a smoother transition between shades.
